The Rectal Pacifier has a number of unique characteristics that differentiate it from our other anal Electrodes. This Electrode is completely constructed out of our Electro-Flex™ tubing, with a hollow design, allowing it to collapse for easy insertion into the rectal passage. Once inserted the Pacifier then expands to allow the surface tissues of the inner sphincter to create a tight seal for proper inner sphincter muscle stimulation. The removable ring on the Rectal Pacifier is designed to sit comfortably against the outer sphincter muscle, allowing for stimulation of the outer sphincter muscles when the Pacifier is inserted. The Pacifier can be used with or without the Removable Sphincter Ring allowing for greater versatility in the use of this Electrode. Removing the ring also makes the cleaning process much easier. This is a single pole Electrode which must be used in conjunction with another P.E.S. Electrode to complete the circuit.
